Packt Publishing is looking for Open Source Graphics enthusiasts with an interest in writing to become authors for their Open Source Graphics range. No previous writing experience is necessary, just expert knowledge and a passion for the subject.

Open source graphics applications are growing in numbers, developing features to compare with their commercial rivals, and finding increased usage in professional channels. Manipulating images, drawing, laying out complex documents, modelling and rendering are all the kind of things that you can find a great open source tool for, and with their increased power and user base comes a greater need for clear information about getting the most from them.

Packt aims to publish books to make open source graphics applications accessible, and is inviting people with knowledge of these applications to provide clear and friendly instructions for people starting out, and to help people with more demanding needs master the secrets of professionals.
