Packt: By publishing a book, you have opened a new chapter in your life. How does it feel?

Nassyam Basha: I am very much excited! I hadn't expected this opportunity until further down the line in my career, so it's a dream come true.

Packt: How will readers benefit from this book? Did you learn anything new while writing the book?

Nassyam Basha: Yes, while writing I was able to clarify for myself some of the concepts I've written about and improve my understanding of them.

Packt: Our authors usually have full-time jobs whilst writing for us. Was this the case for you and how did you approach managing your time?

Nassyam Basha: I found that writing a chapter is difficult. I get many leaves and vacation leaves from my job and I had to use them sometimes. It is totally not easy to manage both work and writing a book simultaneously.

Packt: Whilst writing your book, did you find that it overshadowed personal life in any way? How did you deal with this?

Nassyam Basha: Yes, sometimes I wouldn’t get any rest because I had to meet a deadline that was fast approaching. But, this is all part of life and, in the end, I am happy.

Packt: Do you have any advice for other authors who may be interested in writing for Packt, but are still unsure?

Nassyam Basha: I would definitely recommend that potential authors work with Packt to publish their books.

Packt: What tips or tricks would you like to share with other authors?

Nassyam Basha: If one wants to meet deadlines efficiently, it takes planning, timing, and perfection.

Packt: During the writing process, did you come across any issues/ difficulties that affected your writing and how did you overcome these?

Nassyam Basha: I had difficulties in formatting text and following the template. But I was able to manage things better after writing one or two chapters and my co-author helped me a lot as well.

Packt: What is your favorite relaxation technique when the pressure is too high?

Nassyam Basha: I love playing video games and posting answers on OTN.

Packt: Was there anything interesting that happened during the writing of the book?

Nassyam Basha: I was able to improve my communication and writing skills.

Packt: How did Packt’s Acquisition Editors help you - what kind of things did they help you with and how did they support you throughout the writing process?
